La formazione nel progetto “Biblioteche nelle Scuole”: un esempio di blended learning al servizio delle biblioteche


Abstract


The Biblioteche nelle Scuole (School Libraries) project is among the measures adopted together by the Ministero della Pubblica Istruzione (Public Education Department) and the Dipartimento dell'Innovazione Tecnologica (Technological Innovation Department), with the collaboration of the Istituto Centrale per il Catalogo Unico (Central Institute for the Unique Catalogue) and the Ministero per i Beni e le Attività Culturali (Department of Cultural Assets and Activities). The purpose of the project is to integrate school libraries into the National Librarian System. CILEA received the task, among the others, of organising and managing the education. The approach adopted for the didactic was one of blended learning with e-learning alternated with class learning with practical exercises. The blended learning approach had the purpose of creating and activating an on-line professional community of the people working in school library, to be used as a working and sharing environment.
